Disabled Facilities

Cardiff Airport has a range of facilities to assist disabled passengers.

Disabled persons’ facilities at Cardiff Airport include: ramps, lifts and wide aisles where necessary; specially adapted telephones and wheelchair-friendly toilets. There are also disabled parking spaces in both the short-term and long-term car parks at the airport for those with disabled persons’ badges. In addition to facilities for the disabled, hearing-impaired travellers to Cardiff International Airport have the use of a minicom facility, which is available at the Information Desk.

Recent improvements have beem made to disabled facilities at Cardiff Airport. These include three special assistance call points in the car parks and outside the main entrance to the terminal building; a special assistance reception desk in check-in; and additional assistance for flyers through security and the departures lounge.

Blind or visually-impaired passengers should call Customer Services or their airline before their journey.
